They really do use those golf carts to go around, don't they? Sweet.

@ Hilda - Yes, The Villages was built as a golf-cart community and is criss-crossed with golf cart paths...you can get just about anywhere in The Villages via golf cart. Thus, most people who live there have one. Some have made their golf carts "street legal," which allows them to travel on some regular roads as well.

Ah, now I see what thou meanest in your comment! Yes, you are right, it does look a bit like my shot, except that in Versailles it was raining and freezing! I like this very much.

Great light! And a golf cart! They seem to be everywhere.

Are those little go carts legal to drive on the streets? Must be a lot of old people in Florida:)

@ Clueless - They are legal in the downtown areas of The Villages (Spanish Springs and Lake Sumter Landing)...some folks have made their carts "street legal" but they still can't get out on the regular roadways.

The Villages is a 55 + community. And yes, there are a lot of us old folks in Florida. What really bothers me though is that some of the "old" folks in The Villages are starting to look young!

And, a wild night it was too. Tomorrow Ms. Palin will take over the bookstore...that should get the little electric motors humming. I see traffic jams ahead on the cart paths.

Your evening bench scene looks like my bench scene without the Zombie.
