This is a beauty! Do you ever wonder if they get tired of holding their neck up?

Hi Jacob,
Thanks mate, this is a beautiful dedicated post! The bird is fantastic and your picture just wonderful... The colors are awesome and the reflection superb!!!
My birding-eyes also stopped on the little duck on the side of the flamingo, yeh you know birders!!!
I think this is a female hooded-merganser, isn't it? This is also a bird I'd like to see man!!!
Thanks a million for this nice post ;-), I'm deeply touched and appreciated it a lot!

What a fine composition! The only example I see of this species up here is the plastic variety.

Beautiful birds and shot too!
You know, Jacob (here I go again! LOL!), I've watched thousands of pink flamingos at Lake Bogoria, Kenya. Having lunch on the shore of the lake with such a view was an amazing experience! You can check it here: http://mendoncajose.blogspot.com/2008/07/lago-bogoria.html
