Cross Creek - The setting for Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings home

These first photos show the bridge over Cross Creek and the area around the very small town of Cross Creek.  This is where The Yearling restaurant is located and is a couple of miles from Rawling's home.

The last two photos were taken on Rawling's property.

Another wonderful installment in the Rawlings series. What are Southern Stamps?

I sure do remember green stamps. And miss them. I'm still using clothes hampers "purchased" with green stamps many, many years ago.

All bright and colourful at this town of Cross Creek. The photo of the ramp/walkway over the water is amazing. Great perspective.
