Williston, Florida - Home to Foolish Pleasure

With the running of the Kentucky Derby tomorrow afternoon, it seemed appropriate to post this photo congratulating Williston's Foolish Pleasure for his win back in 1975.

I, too, love the name!!! I was going to make some other remark--but not now.
I used to keep track of the Derby Winners--but not any more and I don't really know why. MB

I had to look up and find out that "foolish pleasure" was the name of a horse. My ignorance! Anyway it's an amusing name! And it's interesting that a town celebrates its famous son being a horse... :)
