Why wouldn't it be, with a name like that!

Jacob, here's some info for you about Screen Door's menu which is what drew us to the restaurant:

Screen Door presents a celebration of southern cuisine as experienced by us as southern natives from the quintessential hearty fare to the everyday foods gathered fresh from the garden. Central to our concept is making use of the similar rich bounty of local fresh produce found here in the northwest that we often took for granted growing up in the south.

At Screen Door we serve local and organic produce and meats everyday. Screen Door is a part of maintaining the connection between farm and plate and simultaneously presenting a revival of regional American cuisine through the historical methodologies and preparations found in the south.

Screen Door’s menu is a survey of the south, from South Carolina Lowcountry cuisine to soul food and Cajun one-pot cookery to the refined Creole and French preparations found in New Orleans. We explore all methodologies and preparations from the historical to the modern, from the rudimentary to the refined, from the low-brow to the high-brow, cutting across class distinctions to get at the heart of the matter, the food.

I like these tree trunks, I always associate them to the Everglades although I've never been there.

I can't pronounce either the name of the restaurant or even less the river, but if it's a favourite spot I'm sure there is good reason for it and makes me crave for the delicious food they serve...
God bless you!

You got such a great shot of this from the river. That last bench photo I took was where it was flooded up to the deck from TS Debbie.
