Rainbow Springs Swimming Hole

This photo has been subjected to the "Orton" effect. And yes, there are gators in that water. A warning sign has been posted. People swim at their own risk. This is a spring and the water stays at exactly 72 degrees F all year.

Love the Orton effect.

WHAT? People swim in there? Suicidal tendencies perhaps?

very beautiful, very tempting...i bet that's just what the gators are thinking, too.

Beautiful place. I love all the green shades there. Hmm - swimming with seals or dolphins sounds great, but with gators? No, thank you!
As for your comment - this palace belongs to the church now. It is possible to visit it with a guide few times a year, but I've never been inside - maybe one day:)
Well, I drove there - shame on me!

You processed this photo so perfectly.. I have a shot of the gator sign...it amazes me that they have the swimming area roped off but gators can swim...under ropes ;)...I would not be swimming in those waters....gators are fast!!
