Day ends at Haulover Pass

A few years ago, at the end of the day, Lois Anne and I walked around the marina at Haulover Pass in Miami. That's when this photo presented itself.

What a great idea you had a few years ago! This photo is so perfectly serene.

P.S. No, I didn't see Sofia Coppola's "Marie-Antoinette". Maybe one day I'll get round to it though I doubt is as I voluntarily don't have TV!

Oh, CQ...I think you would absolutely love this film! Lois Anne wanted to watch it and I pooh-poohed the notion for a long time but when I finally gave in I was glad I did.

It's beautiful and tragic and glorious and sad and wonderful and Kirsten Dunst does a great job as Marie A.

The photography of the palace and the grounds is stunning!

Perhaps you have a friend with a TV and DVD player?

Ha, I do have a computer on which to watch DVDs! ;-)

I do love this photo too Jacob.. i think because where you live is SO different to Bath, i love the difference. kind of envious of your weather and vast spaces and sea and sand! (sorry to interrupt talk of the Marie Antoinette film... but it does have to be seen!! especially if you live in Versailles!)

I think I said this before, CQ...but when you do watch the movie, I'd be most interested in your reaction...
