oo ... I wonder why that might be? Cardinals are red. Archbishops are purple. I wonder what significance doors have?
What a sky! I like the simplicity of the architecture and the 'Christ Church' carved into that top step. Beautiful shot, Jacob.
Very interesting architecture.
Wonderful picture! Thanks for sharing all these informations and lovely post!Léia
@ Julie - blood of Christ?
Like your perspective! Happy Easter!
Well wel have some Presbyterian red doors around here too. Nice angle and a Happy Easter to you.V
@ Virginia...that's very interesting...I don't recall having seen a Presbyterian church with red doors...but hey, why not?Hope your Easter was good!
Looks like a loudspeaker up there at first. Is that a tower bell in full swing?
@ Per Stromsjo - I don't have a clue...nothing was ringing I took the picture...
Hi Jacob, that is an interesting photo and fact about the red doors. I like the yellowish-ness of the stones on this church. There is a church I've seen that has a red door - I'll have to check to see what the denomination is there.
@ Felicia - I have seen Episcopal churches without red doors, but that's rare. And there are other churches that sometimes paint them red, too.
