Boat at anchor on Lake Sumter

This boat, like so many other things in The Villages, is to look at, not use. It is across the lake, on the far side of Lake Sumter, but a long lens has compressed the distance intimating that it's near at hand.

I think it's a nice-looking vessel, even if it isn't "real."

It's funny to have a boat only 'to look'. It's nice anyway and the photo is lovely:)

That's just the kind of thing a long lens would do in an unguarded moment! If the vessel doesn't actually go anywhere I suppose I could sit there with a good book and some coffee.
