The late, great Bob White Orange Company

Sitting between a highway and a railroad track, just north of DeLeon Springs, Bob White Oranges has gone to seed, so to speak. Begun in 1921 or before, the end began in 1983 with a hard freeze. The oranges died. The famous Bob White Oranges were no more. What was once a state-of-the-art facility now lies foul and abandoned and is slowly tumbling to the ground.

You can read the very interesting story here.

It is a pit this area is abandoned.
This is a big area and people could restored the place for some cultural use for instance!
Have a nice weekend dear friends

Hi Jacob,
A part of history and an effect on globalization probably. A pity for the local people... Beautiful documentary you did there!

The first photo is gorgeous. Is nobody interested in the land?

Love the rust and the ruin. I wonder how many homeless folks have taken up residence here.

Hello every one as i have read other comments it is a sad that this complex had fallen in to a state of disrepair. There has been much effort to save as much of the history around the strewn family and bob white orange co. I was part of the team trying so hard to save the buildings from being lost forever. WE where able to move 4 large barns and 2 workers homes witch are fully restored now and on display at the 400 acre florida agriculture museum with many other buildings in Flagler county so please come take part in the living history my name is Brady Barry I can be contacted at BUSHHOG252@aol.com or myagmuseum.com Please help us keep history alive!!!
