Red Sauce


The Red Sauce, in Lake Sumter Landing, is a new Italian restaurant in the same building that formerly housed another Italian restaurant, Dominig's.

Lois Anne and I ate there recently and found the food to be very good, the service excellent, and the prices reasonable.

I like the place, the sign and the name are fun, for the restaurant itself I'll trust your opinion.

Hi Jacob,

Italian food is fabulous! - However I wonder why they call this the red sauce? - Is it a reference to spaghetti bolognese which has a red sauce? -:)

There were some restaurant's around here named Red Sauce for a while, but the owner went bankrupt. Maybe it's the same guy starting over in FL.

Nope, just to match the sign. I like things to be matching and symmetrical. Like Hercule Poirot. ;-)

Danny Petrosino is one of america's greatest Chef's by far. If you dont get it, you dont know much about food!He rose to fame as the corporate chef for International Paper's conference center group.
