The Red Sauce, in Lake Sumter Landing, is a new Italian restaurant in the same building that formerly housed another Italian restaurant, Dominig's.
Lois Anne and I ate there recently and found the food to be very good, the service excellent, and the prices reasonable.

I like the place, the sign and the name are fun, for the restaurant itself I'll trust your opinion.
I'm going to be a spoilsport here: why isn't the roof red?
Okay spoilsport! I don't have a freaking clue! Is this like "Why does the chicken cross the road?"
;-)
Sounds like a saucy place - just how I like it! Good vino schmino, too?!
Hi Jacob,
Italian food is fabulous! - However I wonder why they call this the red sauce? - Is it a reference to spaghetti bolognese which has a red sauce? -:)
Best regards and Happy Sunday,
Asta
There were some restaurant's around here named Red Sauce for a while, but the owner went bankrupt. Maybe it's the same guy starting over in FL.
@ Clueless - I hope it's not the same guy...the guy who was here before went bust!
Nope, just to match the sign. I like things to be matching and symmetrical. Like Hercule Poirot. ;-)
Hey, Ciel - do you ever watch the TV show, Monk? I think you'd enjoy it. I do and I'm sorta like you about "matching and symmetrical."
Wait, you don't have a TV, right?
Right!
