@ Don and Krise - I agree. This little boat seems a bit unstable to me. I have a feeling it's used for fishing in the back bays or in very calm waters.
Wonderful colors and water, but who has a square boat? I designed one when I was about 8 and was very upset when my dad said we couldn't build it because it wouldn't be seaworthy. Obviously, this one is, so it probably doesn't also have a square bottom.
Re: That driftwood in Astoria. It also reminded me of something from the desert, maybe cactus, but obviously this is a tree. It must be pretty old, so who knows where it came from. Nice for musings, eh?

It doesn't exactly look like ideal conditions to be out in a boat that size. It's probably best it's tied up.
That little vessel seems to be calling for someone to take it out.

But I'm not sure.
Strange little thing, it looks like an oyster barge! Nice and choppy though, I like choppy waters!
With this wonderful photo You gift the perfume
of the sea!
Thanks
P.S.
In the boat I'm going tomorrow with the calm sea!
:-)
Yeah, the unstable state of the boat is perfect for the post's title! :)
God bless you!
