Old Florida


Some parts of Florida look very much like they did hundreds of years ago. This is one of them...at a place called Gore's Landing, near Fort McCoy. We'll post a couple of more photos of Gore's Landing in the coming days.

I think it is the reflections in the water that make this picture jump.

I think it's the way the trees form an arbor over the water that really completes the picture for me. I love this side of Florida, the wild, unpaved side. Thanks for posting these.
