Gate to nowhere

At one time this gate in the woods of central Florida led somewhere and served some purpose. Today, it is simply a rusted relic that sits abandoned and unused and will eventually disintegrate into dust unless someone tears it down. I though it was quite attractive - in its own way.

The forest behind looks like Paradise - so maybe ugly gate to beautiful Paradise:)

Yes, it's still serving a purpose as an excellent subject for your lens. I really like the way you've composed this with the trees leaning together so gracefully above the gate.
