Looking out on the Gulf

In this shot, you're looking across a resort swimming pool toward the Gulf of Mexico. Photograph by Lois Anne.

Argh! I shouldn't be looking at this when I'm cooped up in the office! I am so envious of those people sunbathing by the pool. If I were there, I'd be staring out to sea too.

Sigh. Lovely, lovely scene.

And if we kept going out into the Gulf, where would we end up?

A great place to relax, for sure. Very calm ambience - serene Gulf, serene Sky - beautiful.

The gulf is my favorite beach! I wish I were stretched out on that lounge chair myself!

@ Brattcat - You'd probably end up in Texas; eventually. Or if you turned south a little bit, Mexico. If you turned a little bit north, you could end up anywhere along the Gulf Coast; New Orleans, perhaps.

I'm wondering what made the palm tree bend like that.
