We met these fine people a couple of nights ago at Lake Sumter Landing where they were relaxing and listening to some terrific country music being performed across the street at the town square.
They graciously consented to have their picture taken, which we thought was very nice. There are a lot of nice people in The Villages.

Without a doubt villagers are some of the finest people around. Their friendliness, compassion and sociability are beyond comparison.
I'd like to take pictures like this, but it seems that I always pick people at the wrong time. Well done Jacob.
They look so friendly and very nice!
Did they drink lemonade?:)
God bless you

Thats what I want to be doing when I get a few years older. Sitting in a rocking chair having a good time.
Life is grand! Looks like they are really relaxed and having a nice time!
is this "typical American" to have nice chairs like that outside (if this is outside) the house?
I like the photo, and it looks like they all have a nice time.
I bet they've known one another forever .. nice shot ..
Hi Jacob,
Wonderful picture. They all look so relaxed and one can see that they really enjoy the moment. Perfect shot, Jacob.
I just love the rocking chairs. I want a rocking chair as well.
Best regards
Asta
It certainly doesn't get any more relaxing then sitting in those rockers with a cool drink in your hand. Nice looking folks.
they look lovely!
and very relaxed and friendly
Looks like a fabulous way to spend a summer evening. I'm jealous!
@ Gunn White - No, not a house. It's in a business area and the street contains shops and restaurants. These folks are sitting in a breezeway between two of the shops; they are facing the town square where a concert is going on.
Hehe:) Great! But I would prefer different kind of music:)
What a great row!!! They look so happy and content, sounds like a lovely way to spend a summer evening!
Great picture! Might bring my own rocking chair and join them!
Ahhh this looks so nice. Ralaxing and listening to music. Did you tell them they would be on your blog?
Hi Faye - Yes, I did!
